If you’re looking for occasional babysitting, childcare for less than 20 hours per week or have an unpredictable or rotating schedule, you might consider our temporary nanny program. We’ll connect you with a temporary nanny who meets all the same rigorous standards as our long term nannies with the benefit of schedule flexibility and no long term commitments.

What you pay to North Sound Nannies
- An annual registration fee of $249
- $35 booking fee each time you book a nanny
What you pay to your nanny/sitter
- $25 per hour for up to 3 children.
- $28 per hour for 4 or more children.
North Sound Nannies requires a 4 hour minimum for every shift booked.
*** These prices reflect our typical fees. Additional fees may apply in special situations such as holidays or last minute placements.
All of our nannies must have:
at least 2 years of nanny (or equivalent) experience
clean background check (national criminal background check, social security trace and sex offender registry check)
2-4 childcare references with positive reviews
CPR certification
A responsible driving record
Proof of auto insurance
And of course we conduct a comprehensive interview with every nanny to make sure they are up to our standards.
How It Works:
Submit a Family Registration Form online or by phone.
Review and Sign Your Annual Membership ($249 due upon signing).
Request a sitter via our sitter request email line. ($35 will be charged to your selected form of payment)
A North Sound Nannies Team Member will assign a sitter to you.
Your sitter will confirm with you directly!
Pay your sitter via check or cash at the end of their shift. (Our nannies earn $25 per hour)
